PLEASE NOTE:I was given an assignment to visit a police station and bring an interesting story from there. I was so worried about whether i will get any story or not. But i actually got something real n hard, which i would like to share with anyone who reads my mail
I went to the parliament police station. I asked a few questions from the police man and what i got from them was horrifying. They spoke on behalf of the Delhi police. Police man says,"Delhi is the safest city in India!!!!!!!!" (HOLY SHIT) with only 2 cases of eve-teasing reported in the year 2007 and no cases of rape or molestation or assault or dowry. (AS IF ANYONE WILL BELIEVE THAT)According to the Delhi police its media that has brought bad name to Delhi. Otherwise its the safest city in the country and women can freely walk the streets even after dark....( BAD JOKE) and when i asked him that why is it that i don't feel safe or any of my friends or girls i know don't feel safe he simply said that media has hyped up everything. Delhi police says that it is the most EFFICIENT AND RESPONSIBLE IN THE COUNTRY. AND THEY HAVE VERY WELL LIVED UP TO THEIR SLOGAN DELHI POLICE WITH YOU,FOR YOU FOREVER.
This is the information i got after a little work.......
According to the survey conducted by NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF CRIMINOLOGY & FORENSIC SCIENCE :
- 80% of the women feel UNSAFE in MARKET PLACES.
- 70% of the college going girls feel UNSAFE in their COLLEGE CAMPUS.
- 60% of the women feel UNSAFE in SHOPPING MALLS.
- 50% of the women feel UNSAFE in BUSES.
THE NATIONAL CRIME RECORDS BUREAU PROVES the capital to be the MOST UNSAFE METROPOLITAN FOR WOMEN, with CRIME RATE AGAINST WOMEN BEING THE HIGHEST IN THE COUNTRY. NEARLY TWICE THE NATIONAL AVERAGE.
Delhi has been renamed as THE CRIME CAPITAL.
This is the truth about Delhi i don't know how the Delhi police can so easily say that Delhi is the safest city. This only shows and proves how well they are doing their duty. From which angle do they appear to be the most efficient?????? I am more efficient than these stupid people who are doing a police job just because they didn't get a job anywhere else. Thats what the inspector and the sub-inspector said. (BLOODY IDIOTS) FUCKING ASSHOLES. I HATE YOU FROM THE CORE OF MY HEART. AND I WISH I COULD KILL ALL OF YOU AND I MEAN IT.
- DOES ANYONE HERE KNOWS THAT A DELHI GIRL'S SEX EDUCATION BEGINS ON THE PUBLIC BUSES. (BELIEVE IT, IT DOES)
- WOMEN CAN NEVER BREATHE WITHOUT FEARING THAT SOMEONE WILL INVADE THEIR SPACES ANY MOMENT.
